In conjunction with the Spartanburg County Library System, the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office is hosting self-defense classes for women. These classes are open for females, ages 13 and up, and will focus on awareness and also some hands-on exercises. Each class is limited to 30 ladies and will last approx. 2 hours. Anyone interested, please email Corporal Mike Clevenger at mclevenger@spartanburgcounty.org to reserve a slot in one of the classes. The dates are as follows:
Monday, April 11 at 6:30 PM at The Boiling Springs Branch Library
Thursday, April 21 at 7:00 PM at The Main Downtown Library
Tuesday, May 3 at 7:00 PM at The Westside Branch Library
