Deputy Spotlight! Meet Senior Investigator Brad James!
On September 27th, Investigator James responded to a drive-by shooting in Enoree. At the scene, he discovered that the residence had been struck multiple times while occupied by seven individuals, two of whom were minors. After interviewing witnesses, Investigator James gathered enough evidence to identify and locate the suspect, leading to an arrest.
The suspect was charged with seven counts of attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Investigator James requested a formal bond hearing, during which the suspect was denied bond due to the severity of the charges.
His favorite part of the job is being able to help victims of violent crimes get justice and give them some semblance of security after the fact.
