Now Accepting Applications: SCSO Chaplain Program

We’re now accepting applications for volunteer chaplains to serve alongside our deputies, staff, and the Spartanburg County community.

Chaplains play a vital role in offering compassion, encouragement, and a listening ear — supporting people during life’s meaningful moments, unexpected challenges, and times when connection matters most.

If you feel called to serve others, strengthen our community, and be a source of comfort and hope, we invite you to apply and join us in this important work.

If you feel called to serve and support others during some of life’s most difficult moments, we encourage you to apply. Applications must be emailed or printed and submitted to Lt. Darren Dukes (ddukes@spartanburgcounty.org) by Saturday, February 14th. Printed applications may be submitted in person at the Sheriff’s Office front desk.
