The Civil Section is responsible for managing and tracking the service of all civil papers, as well as maintaining the records associated with those documents.The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office is now following the guidelines (Section 21-19-10) set by the Sheriff's Association regarding service fees.

Order:

• If signed by Judge and not accompanied by any other Civil Papers - NO FEE
• If order is accompanied by Summons/Claim and Delivery - $25

LIS PENDENS (per subject) - $25

CLAIMS AND DELIVERY - $25

WRIT OF ASSISTANCE or PETITION FOR WRIT OF ASSISTANCE - $25

ORDERS OF SEIZURE - $25

EXECUTIONS - $25

MECHANIC'S LIEN (per subject) - $25 

SUMMONS AND COMPLAINTS - $25

SUBPOENAS - $25

MOTIONS/NOTICES (per subject) - $25 | FROM DSS/PROBATE - NO FEE

RULE TO SHOW CAUSE (per subject) - $25 (initiated by individual or attorney) 

RULE TO SHOW CAUSE (Family Court) - NO FEE

Any and all other documents not listed are subject to fee - $25
