Food Services

Seven paid employees oversee food preparation seven days per week, three meals per day. These employees prepare over 2,600 meals daily and supervise approximately eighteen volunteer pre-trial inmate kitchen workers.

A total of 949,000 meals were served during FY 2016 at a cost of $0.95 per meal. Currently, there are seven paid employees who oversee the daily operation of the kitchen at a cost of $165,984, bringing total expenditures to $1,033,036 at a cost of $1.09 per meal.
