3/10/2012 - Homicide at Westgate Apartments

INFORMATION NEEDED ON OVERNIGHT HOMICIDE

CASE #12030517: About 2:01 AM this morning (Saturday, March 10, 2012) Deputies responded to the Westgate Apartments located at 430 E. Blackstock Road in reference to a report of a Shooting . Upon arrival on the scene Deputies found 21 year old Adrian Deshawn Meador lying on the ground in front of the “B” Building. Mr. Meador had been shot at least one time and had died on the scene from the gunshot wound. Investigators have been working since the very early hours this morning talking to individuals who were at and near the scene at the time of the shooting in order to gather information necessary to try and identify the person or persons responsible for this crime. As of now no suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made. Without a suspect we are unable at this time to determine a motive for this shooting.
